Certification Course

Jonathan Paragliding School's qualification evaluation is conducted at the Pyeongchang Happy 700 Gliding Range. For all evaluations, separate meal expenses, transportation expenses, National Sports Safety Credit subscription fee, and certificate issuance fees are incurred, and photography, flight equipment, and daily walkie-talkies are required as supplies.

Trainee Pilot Course (Pro2)

• Target: Pro1 course graduates
• Evaluation: 1 day · Evaluation fee 200,000 won
• Evaluation contents: Flight plan, pre-flight inspection, 5-point departure check, forward takeoff, 8-turn for 35 seconds, U-turn or S-curve approach, safe landing at 50m × 50m landing pad.
• Required preparation: Flight log with more than 30 recorded flights

Pro2 qualification is a qualification that allows you to practice flying with an instructor, and allows you to fly in areas with an altitude difference of more than 400m according to the flight school's training plan.

Pilot Course (Pro3·Pro4)

• Target: Pro2 certificate holders
• Evaluation: 1 day · Evaluation fee: 200,000 won each
• Evaluation contents: Flight plan, pre-flight inspection, 5-point departure check, weather judgment, rear takeoff, 28-second figure-8 turn, U-turn or figure-8 approach, safe landing at 30m × 30m landing pad.
• Required preparation: Flight log recorded at least 30 times (For Pro4, GPS recorded data - 10 times altitude gain over 300m - required)

Pro 3·4 pilot qualifications grant freedom of flight, excluding long-distance (X-C) flights, and require a record of more than 30 solo high-altitude flights and a total of more than 20 hours of flight time.

Professional Pilot Course (Pro5)

• Target: Pro4 certificate holders
• Evaluation: 1 day · Evaluation fee 300,000 won
• Materials required: Photos, flight equipment, daily radio (HAM radio only for HAM certificate holders)

The Pro5 professional pilot qualification expands the pilot qualification to a long-distance flight qualification, allowing you to participate in various domestic and international competitions.

2-seater pilot course

• Target: Pro5 certificate holders (training available to Pro4 or higher holders, certificate issuance is limited to Pro5 holders)
• Evaluation: 1 day · Evaluation fee 2,000,000 won
• Evaluation contents: Flight plan, pre-takeoff inspection, occupant protection, 35-second figure-8 turn, U-turn approach, safe landing at 10m marked landing pad.

The two-seater pilot qualification allows you to use a two-seater paraglider and take an unspecified number of people on board.
