1. Purpose
    go. To establish paragliding as a daily sport.
    me. For paragliding with Pyeongchang residents.
    all. This is to enable Pyeongchang to establish itself as a key location for paragliding.
    la. Making paragliding a more familiar sport for people of all ages and genders
        To enable it to grow into an enjoyable aviation sport.

2. Purpose
go. Share the happiness of flying in the sky through paragliding,
me. It provides opportunities for easier access to youth, children with disabilities, and the general public.

- Pyeongchang Paragliding Camp Cup Competition
Date: August 3, 2008 (1 day)
Target: Paragliding enthusiasts nationwide
Expected number of people: about 200 people
- Pyeongchang Paragliding Camp with disabled children
  Date: August 8, 2008
  Target: Children with disabilities in Pyeongchang-gun
  Expected number of people: 5 people
- Pyeongchang Paragliding Camp Class
  Date: August 16-17, 2008 (2 days)
  Target: General public in Pyeongchang-gun
  Expected number of people: 10 people

4. Participation application and registration
(1) Participation is accepted until one week before the start of each event.
Online application through the website is recommended.  
(2) For participation application fees, please refer to each designated content.
(3) Entries past the deadline for participation may be rejected.


Preparing for Happy 700 Pyeongchang Paragliding Camp

hello?   This is Kim Dong-sul, the camp manager.

We are living in the rapidly changing 21st century, and many difficult problems are facing us both inside and outside the country.
In a reality that is struggling to change to face a new phase,
I wanted to make my small dream come true, so I held this “Happy 700 Pyeongchang Paragliding Camp”.
We are ready.  This camp started in 2008 and continues to develop over the next 10 to 20 years, hoping to establish itself as an event that can last, and we are preparing diligently with the hope of doing so.

I like paragliding. The sound of the wind is very nice.
I felt so much happiness while paragliding. Being able to be with good people
And just the feeling of flying freely in the sky makes you feel like you have everything in the world.
When I see the faces of the members, I feel that happiness and freedom.
I wanted to share.
And, I believe that the sharing can continue starting with this camp in 2008.
I have no doubt, and with your help, I will move forward with the dream I want to share.

We hope that communication between nature and humans will take place using a tool called the paraglider.
And I hope that human-to-human communication will take place.

Especially during this camp period,
Anyone of any age can easily experience paragliding through two-person paragliding.
We have provided an opportunity, and even though it is a short period of time, we have prepared a time to train directly on the ground and get to know and understand paragliders one by one.

Some people say that further development cannot be expected in the future unless we embrace each other. This camp provides an opportunity for our children to reach a new level of maturity.

I believe that friendly competition not only provides a sense of accomplishment, but also provides opportunities for growth.
Many enthusiasts from all over the country can participate and improve their skills while socializing.

The blue sky of Pyeongchang
Pyeongchang is a truly beautiful place.  Even if you walk around the mountain with both feet,
It's nice, but the mountains and rivers of Pyeongchang viewed three-dimensionally from the sky are so peaceful.
So I want to do this with everyone. To everyone living in Korea,
And I would like to introduce it to people around the world and join them.
And the people I want to be with the most… … .The sky of Pyeongchang that I want to share with the people of Pyeongchang-gun
Mountains. Through a training session for Pyeongchang residents for 2 days and 1 night,

For all of the events listed above, the scale and content of the events increases as each year passes.
It will get bigger and more colorful.
I hope that this event, which started small, can grow into something big and represent Pyeongchang.
And we will work hard to make that happen.
A place where you can fly paragliders to your heart’s content and embrace and raise world-class athletes.
I hope Pyeongchang becomes a place like that, a place where people from all over the world want to come and fly.
