Dreaming of a wonderful gliding site in Kota Kinabalu

I went to Kota Kinabalu on Borneo Island.
30m training ground being prepared
We are currently in the process of creating a place for ground training along with logging operations.
This shows cleaning up using equipment.
This is the entrance to the 30m training range.
First, we plan to bring a container and use it as a warehouse.
100m takeoff and landing training area
Some work has been completed here and it is ready for flight.
It appears that the landing site work will need to proceed further.
Of course, work continues to make flights more comfortable and safer.
Conditions will be created to accommodate this.
Ridge flight is possible using both the right and left sides.
When a westerly wind comes in, a long flight is possible using the sea breeze blowing from the beach.
It will be easy, suitable for beginners as well as intermediate users. A warm-up flight for advanced people as well
We will make this possible.

This is the takeoff field. It's not perfect yet, but it's flyable first.
This is a panoramic view of the takeoff and landing pad.
This is a panoramic view of the landing pad. The sunset was truly beautiful.
You can fully imagine flying at dusk and watching the sun set.
The beach is 5 minutes from the 100m glide landing pad.
Ground training using the sea breeze here can be fun in its own way.
It was a place.
400m flight glide range
Kinabalu (4,100m) Located at the entrance of the park, it is for flights by intermediate and advanced users.
It is scheduled to be created.
It is thought that it will be easy not only for long flights but also cross-country (long-distance flights).
I think it will take a little more time to fly here.

This is the planned take-off area.
This is the expected landing area.
In the distance, Mount Kinabalu is hidden in clouds.
From mid-December 2008 to January 18, 2009, Kota Kinabalu, Borneo Island, Malaysia
Living in , I travel around looking for suitable places to fly with the Bruce family.
30m and 100m glide ranges were prepared, and 400m was conducted.
We will continue to work hard to create a good gliding area so that you can fly.
While I was in Malaysia, Park Chan (Jonathan Paragliding School Pyeongchang training center member) and the Jangam Suri team visited.
I was happy that we were able to have a good time together.
Of course, there was a lot of help from the Bruce family.
A glide range where you can continue to fly in an exotic atmosphere at a low cost even in the cold winter.
A series of preparations that began with the wish to create and meet precious people and
Thank you for your connections.
We want to make your flight more enjoyable.
In Korea and Malaysia
We hope that our members and all paragliders will be able to fly safely in 2009.
I hope so. We also hope that you can truly enjoy your flight.
thank you

The picture below is of my aunt and mother who were there....

All the locals who live here came out to see the area around the 100m landing pad.

The day we left Kota Kinabalu, everyone gathered at the airport.
To see you off... I would like to say thank you.
