Gliding Association accredited school liability insurance will be applied from the 12th.

The insurance is Hyundai Marine & Fire Insurance’s 200 million won liability insurance and is a group insurance.

1. Organization subject to insurance coverage
-Korea Gliding Association Certified Paragliding School
-Individual business registration certificate (in the name of the leader)
-Korea Gliding Association valid instructor
-Korea Gliding Association registration period valid organization

2. Insurance coverage details
*Compensation for personal and property damage to trainees and passengers on a two-seater flight who selected and participated in the product of an organization subscribed to item 1 above.
*Only applicable to each team's professional instructors and assistant instructors, two-seater pilots, and valid qualifications acquired and valid from the Korea Gliding Association.
*Insurance applied when flying with a paraglider that has passed an international safety test and a paraglider that matches the qualification level of the pilot (DHV, LTF, EN agency)

*Must fly with a glider that meets the qualification level of the Korea Gliding Association.

-EN A~B / LTF 1: Basic Course/Orange/Green/Blue/Brown Pilot Certification

-EN C / LTF 2: Green/Blue/Brown certification held
-EN D / LTF 2~3 Blue/Brown
-Competition gliders that have passed EN D or higher / LTF 3 Loding Test (tensile strength test)

3. Safety management of paraglider equipment
* Wind tunnel test inspection conducted within 3 months after 24 months of purchasing a new glider (record the sales leader's signature and date of purchase when purchasing the glider)
* Gliders that are 24 months old must undergo a fabric wind tunnel inspection within 12 months and 3 months after the inspection to determine the extent of damage to the wing fabric.
* If the test result is less than 50 seconds, the paraglider's flight is not covered by insurance.
* Institutions related to wind tunnel testing are limited to those designated by the organization corresponding to 1. above. (Undetermined: school or manufacturer)
* We have a test machine, mark it with a sticker in the standard form determined by the insurance organization, and attach it to the glider.

4. Accident investigation
One insurance company employee and two professional leaders from the insurance company head jointly cooperate with the active investigation.

5.Other matters
Other matters follow the qualification management regulations and curriculum of the Korea Gliding Association.


Those receiving training at Jonathan Paragliding School are required to register as members of the association (excluding basic training courses).
