[Competition Review] The 1st Jonathan Cup International Paragliding Festival draws to a spectacular close!

Amidst blue skies and beautiful scenery,‘1st Jonathan Cup International Paragliding Festival’We successfully completed the four-day journey from August 27th to 30th, 2026.

We bring you news from the hot field where athletes from all over the world competed passionately under good weather conditions.

🌤️ Game progress status by date

August 27th (Thursday): Player registration and official practice flight (1 time)
August 28 (Fri): The competition begins in earnest. The first round was a little slow in the morning due to a weak east wind and no wind, but the wind began to improve as the first round ended. With the weather improving, the match proceeded smoothly from the second round.
Saturday, August 29th: After the 2nd round, the fierce race continued and the 6th round was in progress. At 6:30 PM, the race was temporarily halted due to weather and time.
August 30th (Sunday): I finished all 6 rounds in the morning. Afterwards it was thrilling‘Cut-out system’was introduced to increase the tension of the competition.
- Round 7: Only the top 40 advance
- 8 rounds: Only the top 20 advanced to determine the final ranking.
